Construction safety reporting, from field note to review
A proposed way to turn scattered field notes into a review queue. This is an illustrative workflow, not a report of a client deployment or measured safety results.

Illustrative starting point
Before: scattered inputs
In this example, a field observation arrives as a phone photo, a handwritten note or a message. The supervisor has to find the site, understand what happened and decide who should follow up. The starting problem is incomplete information and unclear ownership.
Proposed change, not an achieved outcome
After, as proposed: a reviewed handoff
- Capture the observation. A crew member records the site, time, description and an optional photo. Keep the original note available to the reviewer.
- Prepare a draft. AI could organize the supplied information into a draft report and flag missing fields. It should mark uncertainty rather than invent a cause, severity or required action.
- Review before filing. A supervisor checks the description, urgency and assigned owner. Only an approved version would enter the official reporting process.
- Track the follow-up. The assigned person records the action taken. The supervisor checks the evidence and closes or returns the item.
Pilot measurement plan
What to test before expanding
Compare a small sample of the current process with the proposed queue. Record missing fields, time to supervisor review, correction requests and unresolved follow-ups. Agree on a baseline and success criteria before a pilot; no improvement rate is claimed here.
Plan a field reporting workflow
Bring a blank form or a redacted sample. We can map the input, reviewer, follow-up owner and the evidence a small pilot would need.
