Procurement review, from source document to decision
A proposed review process for tender documents and opportunity research. This is an illustrative workflow, not a client deployment or a claim of faster reviews, more bids or cost savings.

Illustrative starting point
Before: scattered inputs
In this example, tender documents and supplier information arrive as PDFs, emails and source links. A reviewer needs to identify the deadline, scope and eligibility requirements, then decide whether the opportunity deserves more work.
Proposed change, not an achieved outcome
After, as proposed: a reviewed handoff
- Collect approved sources. Start with documents or links the team is permitted to use. Record where each document came from and which version is being reviewed.
- Draft an evidence-linked summary. AI could extract the scope, dates, eligibility criteria and open questions. Each important finding would point back to the relevant source passage.
- Check the original document. A reviewer verifies the summary against the source. Conflicting dates, missing pages and uncertain requirements stay visible rather than being treated as settled facts.
- Record a human decision. The owner approves a bid, no-bid or request-for-clarification decision. Pricing, supplier outreach and submissions remain separate authorized actions.
Pilot measurement plan
What to test before expanding
Test extraction accuracy, source coverage, missed requirements and review time on a defined document sample. Record the manual baseline before comparing the proposed process. This example does not claim an achieved review-time reduction, win rate, bid volume or return on investment.
Plan an opportunity review workflow
Bring a public tender or a redacted document. We can define the review questions, source checks and approval path for a small pilot.
