With sound, everyday practices rather than promises: encrypted connections, encrypted storage where the platform supports it, access set by role, regular backups with a recovery plan we have actually tested, and access logs you can review. We explain what each setup covers and what it doesn’t.
We design with Canadian privacy obligations in mind, including PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws, and we document where your information lives and who can reach it. We don’t give legal advice, so for a formal opinion we suggest speaking with your lawyer or privacy adviser.
Not always. Some work runs well on a single, well-chosen desktop computer; other work suits private hosting. We recommend hardware only once we understand the work, and it is purchased separately, at cost.
A backup is only useful if it restores. We test recovery before handover, write down the steps and who to call, and keep that plan current if we look after your setup.
